Guardi\u00e1n de las nacientes del R\u00edo Orinoco y de la ancestral etnia Yanomami uno de los pueblos originarios m\u00e1s antiguos del planeta. El Parque Nacional Parima<\/strong> – Tapirapec\u00f3<\/strong> se crea con el objeto de proteger importantes sectores del espacio territorial constituido por la Reserva de Biosfera \u00abAlto -Orinoco-Casiquiare\u00bb, donde existen bellezas esc\u00e9nicas como paisajes hermosos de la Amazon\u00eda as\u00ed como gran diversidad de fauna silvestre entre ellas diversas especies de felinos, monos y aves, al igual que variedad de flora. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ubicado al sureste de Venezuela en el Estado Amazonas En el Municipio Alto Orinoco, es considerado el segundo parque m\u00e1s grande del pa\u00eds con aproximadamente m\u00e1s de 34.000 Km\u00b2 En este parque se encuentran altos Tepuyes<\/strong> como la Serran\u00eda de Parima donde se alza el Cerro Delgado Chalbaud tiene una altura de 1.047 metros, en pleno coraz\u00f3n de Territorio Yanomami donde tiene su nacimiento el R\u00edo Orinoco, el cual cubre dos terceras partes del territorio venezolano y un 80% del Estado Amazonas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s del Orinoco forman parte de esta Red h\u00eddrica que se encuentra dentro del parque los R\u00edos Ocamo, Matacuni, Matapire y Mavaca<\/strong>. Se puede acceder al parque por v\u00eda fluvial, siguiendo las aguas del Orinoco desde Puerto Ayacucho, y por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea hasta las pistas de aterrizaje en La Esmeralda, Mavaca y Macorimateri o en helic\u00f3ptero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
